Sia Sargeant is the founder and Chief Learning Analyst of Novusia. Over the course of her career, she examined how to develop engaging and effective learning environments for learners. She believes that maximizing positive learning outcomes requires connecting engagement and representation through practice, policy, and pedagogy. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Sia started her career in Early Childhood Education where she worked with children with special needs. She later transitioned to Learning and Development, where she spent many years enhancing the learning experience through content design and technology integration. During her work in Learning and Development, she observed a need to explore non-traditional teaching and learning practices, so she started Novusia, where she now designs experiences to maximize the potential of each and every person.
